How to Alleviate Stress Even When You’re Super Busy

I am in awe of women today. Absolute awe. A peek into just one industry - the blogosphere, shows a community of hard-working, conscientious and driven women who are utilising the tools of the digital world to create their own fully fledged businesses. And in other industries - women are pushing forward in their careers, all while completely bowling others over with their sassy fashion choices and social lives to rival Carrie Bradshaw. We live in an age where women are doing it all and succeeding (massively) in everything they set out to do. What a time to be alive, eh!

Our MINI Adventure: A Beach Stay-cation in Aldeburgh

As much as I love my home, when you live, breath and work there – sometimes, you just need to get away. A change of scenery (for more than 24 hours) helps to refresh the mind, challenge your ways of thinking and inspire your creative patterns. In other words, it’s healthy for the mind and soul – and David and I probably don’t do it enough. There’s something rather freeing about going on a stay-cation, because there’s no scheduled flights, transfers or security checks. You can jump in the car, hit the open road and see where the day takes…

Why We Should Choose Fairtrade for International Womens Day

What does the term ‘Fairtrade‘ actually mean? It’s not a test, don’t worry. But when we were asked that question at an event last week, I’m slightly embarrassed to say that my mind went totally blank. How To Boost Your Make-Up’s Radiance

I’ll be honest with you here, I’ve always been a sucker for high end beauty. While designer clothing has only just really reached my radar (I was never snobby about an all high street outfit), I’ve always saved and splurged on branded cosmetics – primarily because I had such troublesome skin and the more well fitting and luxurious the product, the better it seemed to look. One of my first high end purchases was the YSL Touche Éclat, a cult beauty product for over twenty years – it’s glittering gold packaging and promise of luminous radiance was enough to tempt me…

What to expect as a full time blogger

When I went full-time as a blogger last June, I still couldn’t really explain to the average person (ie: anyone not a blogger) what it was I actually did as a job without an eyebrow raise or two. And that was scary. I completely understood that the digital sphere was and still is, a very new industry. There’s no precedent over what the future holds for it – and so it’s quite a risk quitting the day job and pouring all your focus into your very own online space. But the scariness of a situation has never put me off.…
