Following last year’s #ldnbloggersparty which turned out fairly well, minus a few hiccups – which isn’t bad considering it was my first ever experience of organising an event alone, you’ll have probably seen via Twitter that I’ve decided to run another large scale blogging meet up, this time – aptly named the #bloggersfestival.
The first of it’s kind in terms of scale, brands showcasing and venue (which is absolutely AMAZING by the way) I have been so overwhelmed by the kind comments and replies I’ve had to the invitations. I never could have expected quite so much support and so many people confirming their attendance so quickly. Places are limited, due to the space we have at the venue (and I don’t want for it to be too crowded), however I have put those who have requested to be – on a reserve list, so you will be notified should a place become available.
Because so many of you have been using the hashtag (already – thank you so much!) and enquiring where, what, why, when, who and how?! (phew) I thought I’d give you a little run down and offer the opportunity for you to pop your name, blog and email down in the comment box below should you wish to come along.
Details: 6th September 2014, at a Central London venue, strictly invitation only.
Tickets are free of charge, as I wanted the venue to be a treat for the bloggers involved (and I promise, we do have some real treats in store) rather than a means to make money, however the venue cost, welcome drinks (there will be a limited amount of free welcome drinks on arrival before the bar then returns to normal and you can purchase drinks yourself) and canapés have all been sponsored by the amazing brands we have working with us, as well as some of my own money – so fingers crossed you’ll all be able to have a very chilled, relaxed, enjoyable and sociable day!
The day itself will be very informal, with a flowing walkthrough format – whereby you can browse the brands showcasing, try out their products, have a manicure, a makeover, your hair styled or perhaps even have a ‘lucky dip’ at one of the stalls, resulting in you taking home a new product you might have never chosen for yourself to try out! The Twitter raffle will also be a really exciting feature of the event, with prizes displayed at the venue – and the tickets paper-free, with your entry taking the form of a tweet. Simply tweeting the hashtag #bloggersfestival along with the name of the prize will set you up with a chance of winning (one entry per prize, per person). The winners will be selected at the end of the event.
We’ll also have a live band (or two), ten handpicked brands (these will soon be revealed – but they are all brands I personally love and can vouch for), product lucky dips, goody bags, networking, hangout areas, canapés, a press board for photos and a few fun games where you’ll have the chance to win new clothes, vouchers and much, much more! It will be an informal, chilled and relaxed day – nothing too commercial, just a chance to network, browse, Instagram the view (the venue has an amazing view over the whole of London) and have a few drinks!
