NAKED Thirst Aid 12 Hour Moisturiser!

As someone who suffers from sensitive skin well knows – it is quite hard to find an affordable, fragrance free and effective face moisturiser these days that actually does the job it is supposed to do. There are copious amounts of products available, however it is difficult to know which to choose as the shelves of beauty stores are lined with moisturisers which claim to ‘hydrate’, ‘cleanse’ and ‘last for 24 hours’. After initially discovering I had sensitive skin, I decided to settle on the ‘Simple’ range, quite simply because of the name. The rows upon rows of face moisturisers…

Antipodes Blogger Event!

Last Tuesday evening I was lucky enough to attend the Antipodes Bloggers Event in Covent Garden. Antipodes is a company that specializes in ‘Scientific Organic Beauty’; they ‘bring to the market premium certified organic and natural products from fully sustainable sources’. Their products range from skincare to body care; with a smudge of lipstick in between. They also have an excellent range of ‘Daily Ultra Care’ products; which include facial serums and oils, and a multi-purpose skin balm. The event was held at the wonderfully aesthetic and quirky Hospital Club. We were specifically hosted within the Bellini Bar, a small, but cosy room…

Beau Bronz VIP launch party!

On Wednesday night I was lucky enough to be invited to the Beau Bronz VIP event in Knightsbridge to celebrate the launch of Abi’s new tanning range. Abi O’Leck who owns Beau Bronz kindly invited me along to her launch and looked every inch the beautiful host in her pink Pia Michi dress, with her hair styled by Tatiana Extensions. Abi currently tans the stars of ITV’s Dancing On Ice, so the event was packed with the likes of Torvill and Dean, Karen Barber and Chemmy Alcott. Other guests included Lizzie Cundy, Gary and Phil, Cindy Jackson and the lovely…

Leopard Print imPRESS nails!

My first impression of imPRESS were that they joined the ever growing list of pre-painted ‘easy to apply’ false nails. However, when I received some through the post several days ago and saw that they were in fact LEOPARD PRINTED, I simply had to give them a go! I have tried to recreate leopard print nail art that I have seen on other blogs countless times, without much luck – so I hoped that by wearing them out people might think my nail art skills were far better than they actually are. The nails claim to last up to a…

Airbase HD Foundation

I’ve always been intrigued by Airbase HD Foundation, as it is widely used by the make-up artists on X Factor, This Morning and Strictly Come Dancing. Originally created to be used on those behind the lens, it has now been adapted to suit those who are looking for an everyday foundation – so I couldn’t wait to have a try. Although it is designed to be airbrushed onto the skin (and you can buy your very own airbrush machine from Airbase should you wish to do so), it can be applied with a brush/fingers. The first thing I noticed when…
