April Beauty Favourites

I can’t believe we’re at the 28th of the month already! Where has time gone? I’ve been spending most of April tucked up in my room, working away on my dissertation – which is almost, nearly done. Just a few more tweaks. So because of this, I’ve probably not had as much time to test out beauty products as I normally do. However, eager not to disappoint – I have still reviewed a couple of my new favourites – which are a bit of a mix of haircare, styling tools and skincare. Here goes… Skin Genuis | link Aimed for…

Champneys Pamper Night In

If you follow me on Twitter, then you’ll have probably noticed the influx of GIF illustrated dissertation woes on my feed. I have less than 500 words to go, but for some reason, I still feel so enormously far away from the finish line. Although sitting at my desk, tapping away on a laptop doesn’t appear all that tiring from an outsider’s perspective, this project has really drained me and I feel like I’m running on empty, despite taking naps in the day and getting 9 hours sleep at night. Working morning, noon and night has left me exhausted –…

March Beauty Favourites

I love that this monthly feature gives me the excuse to try out so many new beauty products (without feeling guilty). Over the last 30 days, I’ve tried and tested a rather vast array of skincare items, make-up additions and hair products – all in the name of finding some new favourites. So, here’s my round up… SEVENTEEN | link Seventeen is such an affordable cosmetic range and they’ve…

It’s that time of the month again – a round up of all my beauty favourites. And what a month it has been! I’ve been trialling a little more than usual, because I’ve been focusing on improving the condition of my skin (I’ve written a whole post on this, if you fancy catching up here) – so if skincare is your thing, then you’re in luck! Time Bomb Over-Exposed Sun Damage Rescue | link Time Bomb specialise in anti-aging products and I’ve previously reviewed their face cream, which I found to be amazing for hydrating particularly dry and dull skin.…

My Neville Salon Hair Makeover

I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I’ve only ever let one person colour my hair. In my entire life. And she’s been doing it since I made the move to first get highlights aged 12. She’s wonderful and creates a really natural looking blonde every time (I’m naturally very dark blonde/mousey brown) however she’s also pregnant. In fact, she’s having her baby this month and so will be on maternity leave for the foreseeable future. I’ve known this for a little while now and with my roots showing, I knew I needed to book up and try somewhere else. As silly as…
