January Beauty Favourites

January has been a pretty busy month, so I haven’t been able to review quite as many products as I normally get through. However, being the beauty addict that I am – I still managed to squeeze in trialling a couple of items and some fab ones at that. Introducing, my January beauty favourites… Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge | link Contouring isn’t a ‘new’ phenomenon, but unfortunately for me – I’ve only recently got the hang of it, so it is rather ‘new’ for me. Until now,¬†each time I attempted the infamous make-up technique (made famous by non other…

In My Wardrobe:

Savana Urban Spa, Notting Hill

In the very heart of Notting Hill lies Savana Urban Spa, an oasis of relaxation in among the hustle and bustle of the capital. Situated between picturesque pastel coloured houses, it is frequented by locals and even hosts a private dentistry practice – among a number of treatment rooms. With chic white wash walls and candles galore, I headed there last month for a morning of pampering. Ah, sometimes I love my job! Although the spa offers a number of cosmetic treatments, such as laser hair removal, skin contouring and weight loss inch loss, I was going to be indulging…

December Beauty Favourites

December has clearly been a busy month of product trialling for me, if my extensive list is anything to go by. I’ve been at home in London for the majority of the month (rather than at University in Bournemouth) which has been really lovely – as usually I’m going back and forth between homes and lose track of what bits I’ve been using. In my bathroom:

Browhaus, Islington

A one-stop-shop for all things brow related, Browhaus has been on my radar for quite some time now. I visited their Covent Garden branch several years ago and was so happy with the result, so invited them along to 2015’s edition of the #BloggersFestival in September. As I had envisioned, everyone else who attended left sharing my enthusiasm¬†for their magical brow ways – having had their own mini appointments throughout the day. However, with a Christmas party on the horizon (and a number of other festive related events), I thought it was about time I booked in again for their…

Achieving Strong, Long & BLONDE Hair!

I started getting highlights at the age of 11, which to some of you, may seem pretty young. My mum was getting married and I wanted to look a little more ‘grown up’ having taken on the role of bridesmaid. I’d always had mousey brown hair and so a few blonde streaks jazzed up the look as much as I’d hoped. From then on, I continued highlighting my hair – in the beginning, only once a year as a treat, but further down the line – it was every couple of months. As anyone who has bleached their hair will…
