Izabel London

I collaborated with Izabel London back in July (post here) and received some lovely feedback on the gorgeous shift dress that I wore. The site itself is a bit of a hidden gem, because they stock some really pretty, feminine dresses with very affordable price tags – but before collaborating, I hadn’t heard of them very much. It’s now one of my favourites! This time, instead of a shift shape tailoring, I chose a beautiful floral skater style dress – which I think is absolutely perfect for holiday wear! It’s honestly the most comfortable dress, even though it assists in…

Festival Moments with New Look!

I haven’t actually been to any festivals this summer, partly due to prior commitments and partly due to the fact that I wouldn’t even know where to start when it came to choosing which one (there seems to be hundreds at the moment). However, I didn’t want to miss out on all the fun – especially the outfits – and so when New Look approached me and enquired whether I’d like to take part in their festival moments campaign, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get involved in the fashion side of things! The campaign itself is…

Paisley Peasant

Paisley prints are one of my all-time favourite things to wear – especially in summer, so when the opportunity arose to partner with House of Fraser a couple of weeks ago, it wasn’t a hard decision to pick out this gorgeous ‘peasant style’ tie up shift dress. I’ve never heard of a ‘peasant’ dress either, but apparently that’s what this is called! The dress itself is so easy to wear, it’s comfortable and maintains the appearance that you’ve made more effort than you actually have (I think anyway). And of course, I can’t talk about the outfit without mentioning these…

Tropical Fever

Jumpsuits and me haven’t ever really got along. I have a big bum, which tends to play havoc with the straight up-straight down shape that most jumpsuits sport. Most don’t really give any credit to the waist, which is what I try and play upon to balance things out a bit, so until now – I’ve never even set foot in one. However, upon my travels last month – I spotted one very stunning lady at the airport, who looked as though she could have stepped off the cover of Vogue – sporting a gorgeous floral jumpsuit, which she pulled…

A Shift With A Twist

As someone who has always been a little conscious of my stomach area, shift dresses have always been the favourite go-to shape of choice when it comes to picking out the fit. I’ve become ever so slightly more adventurous since losing weight over the past couple of months, in fact – several months ago, I would have never been confident enough to post pictures like this – however, I still stick to the shapes I trust. When Izabel London got in touch a couple of weeks ago and suggested working together, once again – I gravitated towards a shift dress, however…
