Celebrate our differences

This is a bit of a random post, but one that’s been brewing for a long time. And it involves opinions. Something that everyone has I suppose, but not all are alike. And I believe, this is something to be celebrated. If we were all the same and upheld identical views and values, the world would be a very mundane place. Maybe the world would be a much kinder sphere as a whole, but we wouldn’t have the wonderful diversity that we have today. We can learn from one another, teach each other, hold discussions and really evoke new considerations about…

In My Wardrobe:

Why you need a digital detox in Mexico

As much as I adore the digital world and the incredible opportunities it brings, admittedly sometimes, it can be a little all consuming. I awake with my phone already in my clasped palm, scrolling through Instagram as I blink open my eyes and checking for Twitter updates as I spoon my breakfast into my mouth, rather mindlessly. The Ultimate Christmas Gifting Guide 2016

I’m both slightly smug and embarrassed to say that I started Christmas shopping back in September. When it comes to all things festive, I absolutely love getting into the holiday spirit early because once the 25th arrives, it all seems over too quickly – so I figure why not make the most of the build up! How to prep for the party season

The month filled with parties, prosecco and pampering is very nearly upon us. Each year, it creeps up on us slowly – before revealing itself in a rather glamorous fashion and 2016 has been no different. Despite feeling a little blue about the cold, dark evenings and having to wrap myself up in a ridiculous number of layers, the fact that the festive season is ahead makes it all worthwhile. However, we’re a whole year out of practice – so I thought I’d put together a little guide to prepping for the party season. Grab a cup of tea, pop on…

How to Stay Safe While Blogging

The title of this might sound a bit odd. Because for the large part, blogging is a rather ‘safe’ job by nature. There’s rarely any stunts you have to pull (aside from that time I thought it would be a good idea to say yes to a mountain adventure sports press trip – good one, Scarlett) and you don’t have to handle dangerous machinery (although there was that one time I caught the tip of my finger in my camera cover while closing it – ouch!). So to sum up, it’s not exactly an adrenaline junkies dream job. Being careful isn’t…
