Sleep In Rollers have quite literally taken over the world in recent months, with every celeb on the planet sporting a secret (or very public) love for the miracle working rollers, whose USP is that you can sleep safe and sound whilst wearing them. They’ve appeared in every magazine, on every bloggers wishlist and even on television, so I couldn’t believe my luck when an invite popped into my inbox inviting me to their ROLLERFEST, in the beautiful Jewel St Pauls.
Arriving at 2PM (before dashing off for an appointment, and coming back), we couldn’t believe how many amazing things were on offer for us lucky bloggers and press. HD Brows were available for appointments, and I have to say – I was very impressed by my friend Sophy’s brows after the brow specialists had finished! OPI nails were also on hand to give manicures (I took them up on this offer and came home with a lovely orange, coral colour – from their new sand range). Whilst Sleep-in Rollers were also on hand to style the guests hair (I had mine put up into a huge bun) and Fake Bake were in attendance, giving out tips to get that perfect summer glow. In essence, it was the perfect pamper day – and Sophy and I really made the most of it.
But it wasn’t just press and bloggers getting the royal treatment, but stars too – with several recognizable faces working the room. Stefanie Pratt, who is famously dating MIC lothario Spencer Matthews (and whose brother is infamous Hills/CBB villian Spencer Pratt – whoa, too many Spencer’s there) was in attendance, wearing a summery strappy dress and converse. She enjoyed several of the pampering treats on offer, in addition to having a tarot card reading.
MIC’s Ashley James and Ianthe Rose also turned up to the event, looking very summery in shorts and wedges. I know she appeared initially on Made In Chelsea as the girlfriend of Ollie Locke (before then breaking up rather publicly) but I have to say, Ashley is absolutely stunning in the flesh – it’s no wonder she captivated the attention of several MIC boys! Also making a flying visit was X Factor’s own – Mischa B, who was sporting dip dyed locks.
The event itself was planned by Steve Duggan and CAN Associates and really was a complete success. Thanks so much for the invite, I will be sleeping in my rollers tonight!
