It was my birthday last Friday (6th January) and although I didn’t really post in full about how the day was, or what I did – I’ve decided to give you a little snippet of what happened in the form of a ‘what I wore’ post. My blog isn’t really very personal, in the sense that I don’t post an ‘online diary’ of my day to day life. However I suppose that a birthday is a special occasion, an excuse to get dressed up and indulge, so I thought I’d post about it.
I hosted a cocktail party on the Saturday of my birthday weekend, which was lovely. I don’t particularly enjoy drinking, but I absolutely love cocktails – and so I had about 15. It doesn’t feel much different being 18, I suppose I am now considered more ‘able’ to do certain things, but the only thing that I’m looking forward to is being able to apply for more work experience and internships now I’m no longer under 18.
