I love reviewing beauty products and it was no different when these lovely products arrived on my doorstep. Scent Trail’s Geranium Body Veil and Zoe Cosmetics Tea Tree Blemish Gel & Rose Garden Soap. I’ve decided to do a joint review on these products because not only do they go well together as beauty buys but I feel they both represent great products that are value for money! Both Scent Trail and Zoe Cosmetics are fantastic brands that you should definitely take a look at, however here are the personal reviews!
I really loved the flowery smell of this body butter, as it is strong enough for people to comment on how lovely you smell without being overpowering. The body butter itself is great for hydrating dry skin, as it’s quite oily once applied to skin – and this isn’t a bad thing. After an hour my hands (I applied it to my hands first to test it out, before applying it to the rest of the body) felt soft and smooth! The 120ml you receive when purchasing a pot of the butter will really last ages as just a small amount applies to a large surface area of skin – so it really is value for money! I really love how creamy it is on application and how smooth it leaves your skin, and for only £8 it is much cheaper than some high street body butter brands, so it’s worth investing. I’d recommend testing the body butter out for yourself, as for those who enjoy a body butter that really works – this is for you. Often some body butters are too harsh on your skin, and one body butter I bought actually prevented me from tanning on holiday as it was so thick! This body butter is just the perfect mix!
Zoe Cosmetics Tea Tree Blemish Gel
I’m often wary of blemish treatments, as they don’t always work on my skin (as it’s quite sensitive and dry) however this really makes a difference and doesn’t dry out my skin completely – which is a bonus. A little dab of the gel on an irritating spot clears it up within a day, and you really start to see a difference within a hour. I’ve taken a few photographs of how the gel itself worked for me, luckily I don’t get too many spots but I have a few small ones on my chin – so I tested out the gel on these. After a day you can really see the difference, so if you are due to attend an event where you simply can’t afford to have spots – then I’d really recommend this gel for a quick, easy treatment. A pot of the Blemish Gel is only £4.50 so unlike other spot treatment products on the market, it’s cheap and effective!
(apologies for my digusting face! I don’t normally get this many spots but I’ve been eating lots of chocolate lately – so I blame that!)
Zoe Cosmetics Rose Garden Soap
All the soaps Zoe Cosmetics stores are not only gorgeous to smell but also to look at. The Rose Garden soap I received was decorated so beautifully I didn’t want to ruin it! However, after finally succumbing to the smell I washed my hands with it and was left with soft, delicious smelling hands – which I couldn’t stop discreetly smelling all day. For just £3.00 for a bar of soap, it really is lovely!
