I was lucky enough to have Bee Good showcase at the #bloggersfestival in September, bringing along their wonderful products – and their founders. Set up in 2008, by beekeepers Simon and Caroline, every product was constructed (at development stage) in the couple’s home kitchen and features real beeswax from British Bees. A reasonably priced range, the products are all stocked in Waitrose stores nationwide – in addition to being available online. I personally am a huge fan of their products (which is why they came along to the event) but realised recently that I hadn’t actually featured any of my favourites on the blog – so here we are.
First up is the Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser (£11.50) which is a miracle worker if you (like me) have sensitive or easily irritated skin but want an easy to use, fresh smelling product that wipes away the last remnants of make-up and cleans pores. It’s super hydrating, so if you fall asleep before you get a chance to put your moisturiser on – you’ll still wake up with fresh, soft skin. Used best with a warm muslin cloth, it upholds a really lovely fresh floral scent, with base notes of honey. I was also happy to see it recently won a Shout Beauty Award – and deservingly so! If you haven’t tried this yet, it’s definitely something to pop on your wish list.
Another firm favourite is the Intensive Hand Repair Cream (£12) which again – has base notes of honey and a fresh floral scent. I don’t normally use hand cream (although I should) however I always keep a little pot of this in my handbag and use it just before I’m about to shake someone’s hand (somehow it softens and dries clammy palms). An odd revelation perhaps but it leaves them smelling lovely and feeling soft – what better impression could you make?!
And if all the above wasn’t good enough, the brand kindly give away a percentage of their profits each year towards supporting and protecting British Bees!
Have you tried Bee Good’s products? Did you get a chance to see them at the Bloggers Festival?
