Herts Bloggers Xmas Party!

The past few months have been rather university-centric for me, with little else going on other than settling in, meeting deadlines and making notes, so inevitably, I feel very out of the blogging loop. It's a real shame because back in London, I felt as though I was meeting new bloggers on an almost daily basis - so when Sarah and I started discussing the possibility of another meet up over the Christmas period, I couldn't wait to start organizing it!Blog Lunch 027You may remember my post about the last Hertfordshire Bloggers Meet Up, which although was a rather informal affair, was so much fun - and so lovely to meet so many bloggers close to home. Hertfordshire, although relatively near to London isn't as jam packed with events, so there aren't as many opportunities to meet like-minded writers nearby - however there sure is plenty of us!Scarlett London Bloggers Lunch March (72)

The provisional date set for our little meet up, is Friday 20th December, possibly in the evening - hopefully this is good for everyone, as this means there will be no school/college/university or work, however if you aren't able to make us, let us know as this date isn't set in stone just yet. It's set to be very informal and relaxed, possibly a dinner/cocktails/drinks in an Italian restaurant, or if there are enough of us - a little party! It will be based in St Albans, which has great connections from London, Watford, Hatfield, Welwyn, Hemel and other parts of Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire. And even if you're not from Hertfordshire, but fancy popping over and meeting some bloggers - feel free to let us know and we'll pop you on the list.LDNBloggersParty 099 LDNBloggersParty 106 LDNBloggersParty 112 LDNBloggersParty 186

Again, I will reiterate - it is an informal, non branded meet up (although we may have a few little goodie bags in store) but will be a great opportunity to network, meet new people and have a relaxed evening. The restaurant we're thinking of has lovely food - so you won't be disappointed.xmasApologies for my waffling, hopefully the main details are clear, however take a look at Sarah's post (here) for a little more information if you like. If you're around on the 20th, please leave your name, blog name and email address below so that I can email over an invitation closer to the time and similarly, if you have any questions, feel free to post below.Hopefully it will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Christmas, meet some new friends and chat about all things blog related!
