ootw: neutrals & electric

I am leaving for Greece in a few days so, inevitably, I am in total summer mode but, as the weather here doesn't allow for that, I've gone for a springtime look which is good enough for now and which can be reinterpreted with hot shorts and bright sandals for summer.

Wearing embroidered skinnies for a fairly 'boho' outfit which I have paired with a loose-knit top in black (of course), slightly over-sized. My tan Céline goes perfectly with the neutral colours of the skinnies and a touch of electric orange adds that bit of something to make the whole look pop.

Wearing: Top, Kain. Skinnies, Isabel Marant. Heels, Manolo Blahnik. Bag, Céline.Although not the most comfortable of outfits (super tight skinnies and high-inclination Manolos!) but it's still stylish and makes for a great outfit for any springtime event. It can also be recreated any time and for different seasons. An oversized coat in camel brings it all together for wintery times while a reinterpretation allows for a summertime look with festival vibes.The palette of hues in this look are great for summer, the tans remind me of Greek sandals while the embroidered skinnies could easily be cut-off shorts - and a swipe of orange lipstick against bronze skin is always divine!What are you all doing this summer?C x
