Although blog reading has taken a slight back seat as of late (I blame silly exams), I am usually an avid blog reader and regularly tune into my favourites – as well as scouting out some new sites! Featuring a mix of some larger – and some smaller blogs, these are my recommendations if you’re looking for some new morning – or lunchtime reads!
Niomi is part of a family of very well known bloggers, yet despite her overwhelming success (she recently hit 1,000,000 subscribers!) – she somehow manages to stay really down to earth and continue to consistently generate stunning and engaging content! I love her focus on clean, healthy living – and I often venture to her blog for recipes, juice ideas and skincare recommendations. With lots of travel and fashion posts added into the mix, there’s something for everyone – and her YouTube channel is a complimentary extension to what she writes!
Claudia Saadeh is a really close friend of mine, so I supposed I am slightly biased to be recommending hers as one of my favourites – however, considering how incredible her blog is, I thought she deserved a spot! Not content with being one of the most achingly beautiful people I’ve ever met (both inside and out) she also has a real talent for styling and regularly puts together some incredible outfits which upon first glance you’d probably never initially thought to piece together – but really works! Titled after her favourite footwear designer (can you guess), she not only has an incredible shoe collection – but a really natural flair for writing!
I’ve been a fan of Zoe’s blog for yonks but when she re-vamped her layout (fairly recently, I believe) her content and photography seemed to get even better! I love how she mixes serious, thought provoking posts with event reviews, beauty tutorials and outfit posts. There’s something for everyone on her blog and the clean, sleek layout means you will quite possibly find yourself clicking ‘read more’.
Ellie is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met – and despite not having properly had a catch up for absolutely AGES, she always makes time for me even if I email a huge long list of questions (usually job-wise, as she’s a top notch tv producer) – sorry! Her blog is both hilarious and fashion forward, with amazing style posts and really witty content which quite often makes me laugh out loud (yes, a real LOL). If you’re looking for a new blog to follow which has a natural flair for writing – and great photos, Ellie’s is the one to follow!
Kellie’s blog is one of my daily go-to’s, especially as she keeps her posts short and sweet but nevertheless utterly hilarious. Tackling topics from ‘the most outrageous baby names’ to ‘girl power’, she’s the little daily dose of wittiness you need to keep you going. I especially love her ‘nom or vom’ features, which I’ll sure you’ll agree are both fascinating and enjoyable!
I started following Lydia’s blog around a year ago (maybe longer) and ever since, I’ve been utterly addicted. Stunning photographs (in some amazing locations) are accompanied by fitness, fashion and beauty posts – all of which are succinct, but really well written and a great read. Her blog layout is incredible (and enough to sway you to subscribe without a second glance) and the lady behind the blog is super down-to-earth too, despite the fact she looks like a Victoria’s Secret model with real life Rapunzel hair!
Rosie’s blog has been on my radar for years and is often my go-to for a pick me up. Her jet-setting, fashionable and photogenic London based lifestyle is more than enough to escape to – even if you are sat on a crowded train! She has coined many much loved recipes (with quirky names) – although unfortunately, I cannot profess to have re-created them with much justice, as my baking skills are questionable. Still, it’s certainly worth a read!
Olivia’s blog was introduced to me by a friend several years ago – and ever since, I haven’t looked back. Her photography is stunning and the house style she maintains for each one of her posts makes you feel like part of the family every time you read it! She mixes travel, lifestyle and fashion – in fact, like the title suggests – everything she does, so if you enjoy a bit of everything, you’ll love her blog!
Em was one of my first blogging friends – so her blog will always be a firm favourite of mine (n’aww). She is also a fully fledged jet setter so be prepared for lots of travel posts, restaurant reviews and stunning scenery! If you’re a bit of a wanderluster (like me), prepare for your travel bucket list to be extended (rather substantially).
Liza’s blog is a real reflection of her – flawless, absolutely stunning and very put together. The photography is incredible, her son Vinny is adorable (and she carries some great tips & tricks if you’re a new mum) and she consistently produces really gorgeous content – from beauty reviews, to tutorials and home decor! If you’re a fan of great blog visuals, this is one for you!
With a high flying glitzy career in modelling and presenting, Ashley’s life is more than exciting enough to make for some really interesting content – so as you can imagine, her blog is jam packed full of fashion, beauty and travel related posts. The lady behind the blog is absolutely stunning – but the lovely thing is, she’s actually really down to earth too – so it never feels pretentious or too far-fetched! If you love reading blogs to escape for half an hour or so (into someone else’s life) Ashley’s is definitely worth a look in!
Who are your blogger recommendations? I’m always on the lookout for new sites to follow – so please do let me know!
