I was delighted to be able to review Blush Cosmetics, because not only do I LOVE makeup but I also love finding the same brands for sale – just for less and Blush Cosmetics integrates both of these values. It’s often difficult to buy makeup from a website, because most people love testing products out first however when buying known brands from Blush Cosmetics, such as Max Factor and Rimmel – you can try them out in high street stores before purchasing them for less online! Blush also have their own brand ‘Blush Professional’ and I was lucky enough to try out the eyeshadow palette.
When going out in the evening, I often struggle to know what eye shadow suits me, what clashes with the outfit and if it’s occasion appropriate, so I normally stick to the same boring eyeshadow each time – dark brown and a bit of gold. I also use the dark brown eyeshadow to draw in my eyebrows, as otherwise they may as well not be on my face! However, when I opened the Blush Proffessional palatte, I knew it was the perfect oppourtunity to experiment and try out with some new combinations, shades and styles. The palatte itself contains 88 different colours, so you can be sure to find a combination that suits you. You can recreate the very well known smoky eye look or perhaps try out your own colour mix. I’ve tried out a couple of styles, I really like the dark black/grey look as it’s something I haven’t before done and it adds a quirky feel to the outfit – not to mention the fact your eyes stand out dramatically.
Here’s some eye ‘look’s’ that I created using the Blush Professional Palette – (using the smoky grey, black, metallic silver and glittery gold). I’m yet to experiment with the more pastel colours, but I will let you know when I do! (apologies for the different coloured eyes when editing, often I get a little over carried away with changing the eye colours, the first photograph is my normal eye colour, however I’m sure you get the jist!).
I would really recommend taking a look at the site, because it stocks such a vast range of products for such great prices that it would be a shame not to have a look! The palette I used was only £8.99 and you then have access to 88 different colours. I will definitely be using my palette for each occassion, and continue to try out new styles! On a night out, you can go for more dramatic styles, whereas for daytime use the lighter shades can be made of use.
If you have a query, the people behind Blush Cosmetics are really friendly and helpful to talk to, so if you’re unsure about a certain product or purchase, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll receive great customer service as well as a great product and an unbeatable price!
