It is an absolute pleasure to introduce Bloom & Wild, my new favourite flower delivery service! The lovely team behind the website brightened up my week with The Minerva – a bouquet of liatris, lilac bloom chrysanthemums, Minerva carnations, madiba and cordyline red top and ruscus. I don’t know if I’ve just had terrible luck in the past, but I have never found a flower delivery service that I have been 100% happy with. If the flower heads aren’t broken then the stems are snapped in half, the vase is cracked or the box is squashed. That’s why I could have cried with happiness when I saw how the Bloom & Wild flowers were packaged – take a look at the dainty net protection covering the buds. Perfect! Not only that but each and every flower was absolutely flawless.
Sending flowers is so personal, especially when there is a large helping of expectation attached to every delivery. Whatever the message – Thank You, I Love You, I’m Sorry, I’m Thinking of You – you are sending your good wishes with the hope that they’ll brighten up someone’s day. They have the power to make or break a budding romance, give a loved one a glimmer of hope during a difficult time. say the perfect Happy Birthday or bring the first glimpse of colour into a new home.
With Bloom & Wild the love doesn’t stop with the arrangement, each and every little detail included within the packaging only adds to the experience. There’s an “oooo” and an “awww” where ever you look. From the luxurious gold ribbon holding the bouquet together, to the personal message and the exquisite packaging – it was an experience I want to repeat over and over again. You’ll even receive a charming arrangement suggestion and a sachet of flower food, as well as details about your flowers.
The flowers are available in three sizes; Letterbox, Classic and Signature, with the Letterbox flowers coming in at just £20. As you can see, there are more than enough flowers to fill a large vase and personally I think that is a modest sum for individually curated arrangements. I am a bit bloom obsessed – I always have to have fresh flowers in my house, so this discovery is a godsend! For a reasonable £50, you can send a box of letterbox flowers to a loved one every month for 3 months. £100 will extend it to 6 months. Dig a little deeper and £195 will buy you a years-worth of fresh flowers, delivered through the letterbox every month for 12 months. I can’t think of a more thoughtful Christmas gift.
I went for the Minerva for its bold Autumn hues but I am equally besotted with the Emma and the Amelia, both £20 and both beautiful. To any friends and family who may be reading this, I hate to ruin the surprise but your birthdays are going to be wild with blooms from now on. (See what I did there?!)
