I’m doing an early morning post, because I have a busy day today and know I probably won’t get time to post later on. However many of you readers have requested that I blog more about my own style, so to step it up a notch I decided to photograph my entire clothes collection, 2 and a half wardrobes full! My problem is that I never bin anything, because i’m too worried I’ll need the clothes for some crazy event in the future. So here is pretty much, my full collection (apart from the little collection of clothes I have at my boyfriends haha!)Sorry about the mess in some parts of the wardrobe, I tidy up when I’m in an ‘organised mood’ and I am ashamed to say I haven’t been in one of those moods for awhile. However, I’m sure you get the idea about my style and my clothes. I love Lipsy Dresses, Topshop, New Look, Goddiva and other brands which less well known. Sometimes I buy a piece of cheap clothing or find an old piece of clothing around the house and re-design it, cutting up the fabric and moving it to another part of the clothing (ie: I had a black dress, but cut off the bottom in order to make it a top, hemmed the bottom and cut the spare material into three pieces – I then plaited the material and sewed it to the neckline, cost me nothing and looked like Topshop – well almost).
I’ve also posted my outfit today, I’m wearing a denim jacket which is from Miss Selfridge, however it used to be my mums when she was my age so I’m not quite sure you can buy it anymore haha. However there’s loads of lovely denim jackets around today! My dress is from Motel Rocks at Love Clothing. If your looking for a dress – have a look at their collection of dresses, as I want every one of them and they are very fairly priced. My Red Vintage Rose Zoe Dress By Motel was only £39.99 and you can dress it up for a night out, or wear it in the day with a denim jacket like I am doing. I’ve also added a bit of extra length to the dress, by wearing a velvet red skirt underneath the dress, which adds a bit of a personal touch to the outfit. The velvet skirt was £3 from Primark! And I believe you can still buy them.
Sorry about cutting off my head, however I hadn’t dried my hair or put on any makeup yet – and the outfit is the most important part after all! It is a really comfortable day outfit that you can also dress up for a night out. The pattern is also gorgeous, and if you have a look at the Love Clothing site, there are loads of other dresses that have similiar or the same pattern (shows it is a trend this summer!).
