As one of my favourite monthly magazines, I was over the moon to have been nominated in the ‘Fashion Blog’ category at the Company Style Blogger Awards. Hosted in association with New Look, the awards are going to be an extremely tough decision, as there are so many fantastic bloggers up – so I’m not expecting to win, but it’s an honor in itself to have been nominated!
I like to think of my blog as a bit of an ‘all-rounder’, as it covers beauty, lifestyle, fitness, health, debates, technology and showbiz – in addition, of course – to fashion. However, what I do think all of my varied topics have in common is that they are ‘on trend’, they are current and they are relevant – which I guess, in essence is what ‘fashion’ stands for.
If you’re a new reader logging on and wondering where all the fashion posts are, you can filter out all of the other topics and just read my website as a fashion blog by hovering over the ‘Fashion & Beauty’ tab, before selecting ‘fashion’. This will mean you will only be shown all of my fashion posts (and I do blog about fashion a lot), so enjoy!
How to vote:
Please ignore this little extra if you’ve already voted, but I have been asked a few times by people how to actually vote for my blog, which I guess is a worthy question – as my vote button is tucked away on the 5th page of the voting process (on the Company website). Apologies if it feels like I’ve sent you off on a wild goose chase to find my blog, here’s how to vote for me, if you think I deserve it!
1. Once you reach the Company Style Blogger Awards homepage, simply click on the ‘Vote For Your Fave 2013 Blogs Here’ tab (as eloquently highlighted by myself – oh, how creative I am).
2. Once selected, you will be taken to the following page (see below), which has a total of 10 pages, each containing the nominees for the different categories. I am based in the 5th page ‘Best Fashion Blog’, so you can vote for a few of your favourites along the way, before stopping off in the fashion category. Once you reach the fashion blog page, to vote all you have to do is select my blog name (scarlettlondon.com) before then proceeding to the final page to submit your email address.
Apologies if you found that little explanation a bit patronizing, I just have had a bit of feedback from a few readers who couldn’t figure out how to vote – so hopefully, it will help a little. Stay tuned for my #Company Style Blogger Award post series in the run up to the big day! I will be preparing as much as I possibly can!
