My trip to the Costa Blanca last month was mainly to shoot for the new Jody Bell collection, an amazing couture designer that I’ve been working with for awhile now. Her pieces are absolutely incredible (see the full lookbook here) and I honestly felt like a princess getting to swoosh around in dresses all day long (back to reality now though), so I was delighted when they asked me to be the model for their upcoming collection, which will debut at New York Fashion Week in September! Eek!
However, alongside this – they also very kindly offered to have their amazing photographer Dean shoot some of my own content for me, which was a really thoughtful and lovely gesture. I absolutely love photography and have desperately been trying to up my ‘blogger’ game by investing in a new camera and lens, however I always have this in-built panic when I’m abroad that I’m not quite getting the right angles or lighting or pictures that I should be. So to take this pressure off me for the long weekend, was certainly a blessing.
While on location for the fashion film (you can see this on the Jody Bell homepage) I also whipped out my own suitcase full to the brim with outfits I’ve been loving recently – so that they could be photographed in a location more swanky than my back garden. And I was so happy with how the pictures turned out, that I thought I’d share them with you too.

As mentioned over on my Instagram, you’ll have to excuse what I refer to as my ‘resting bitch face’ because I can’t seem to help it when I’m not smiling. Believe it or not, I’ve actually had people shout ‘cheer up’ when I’ve been walking down the street. Usually when this happens, I’m in such a good mood – and am feeling on top of the world inside, it just doesn’t always reflect on my face. I save those smiles for special occasions, don’t you know!

My style this summer is a mix of girly dresses and a bit of boho coachella (well, that’s me eloquently trying to describe it anyway). I’m trying to be a tad more adventurous because this summer is the first summer I’ve been this weight since I was probably about 12, so although my confidence isn’t exactly sky high, I feel like I have the guts to be a bit more daring. I used to shy away from crop tops but now I’m experimenting a little more – and loving it!

Where’s everything from?
Rather than break up the lookbook with various links, I thought I’d collate everything at the end – just in case any of it was up your street. I appreciate my style isn’t to everyone’s taste but I can genuinely say that I have worn the above out and about rather than just for fancy blog pictures, so I can provide testament to its wearability! Some of my items are from last year’s summer ranges, so if I can’t find them in stock – I’ll link something similar!
White Lace Dress (spaghetti strap top) – Revolve
Flower Crowns – Netty Flower Crowns
Pastel Pink Playsuit – In The Style
Black Jumpsuit – Lavish Alice @ Brand Attic
Elephant Print Off the Shoulder Crop – Asos
Sleeved White Lace Dress – Asos
