Is it just me or are more and more girls these days shaving their heads? I’m not quite sure what the whole ‘half a head’ shaved look is all about, and to be perfectly honest I haven’t yet seen anyone who I can safely say it looks good on – but I was actually gutted when I saw this photograph of Ellie Goulding as she is one of the most natural looking stars on the music market at the moment, and although she is a little edgy I didn’t think she’d be one to sport such a dramatic look. 
This article is not meaning to offend anyone who sports a similar style, as I am all for individuality and have sported a few dodgy hairstyles myself (so I can’t really judge) however I just don’t understand the fascination of shaving off one side of your hair – because if you change your mind, it will take a long while to grow back and even then it won’t be equal.
A similar ‘half shaved’ hairstyle was seen lots in the mid 80s, and I think it can add something different to a look – should you have the guts to pull it off. However I’m fretting for these lovely ladies, because when they finally decide to change hairstyles, it’s going to be a while before it grows out again. I’m not quite sure who started the whole shaved head thing this time around, as it hasn’t been seen very much on catwalks. Maybe it was Britney.
