I haven’t written a ‘Get the Look’ post for quite awhile, and since it is London Fashion Week – I thought it was quite fitting that I do so! I’m going to attempt to post a ‘Get the Look’ post every other day this week, although I can’t promise anything as I’ve been bombarded with school work recently and have a few essays/exams coming up. These kind of posts seem to be quite successful with readers, and I think my last one got over 4,000 views (which I can’t believe!) so hopefully you’ll all enjoy this one too.
If you are a regular follower, you’ll know that I’ve already blogged about the lovely Chloe Green however she has been sporting lots of new looks during London Fashion Week – so I’m sure you won’t mind me covering her again. Chloe has actually just announced that she is launching her brand new green-soled shoe collection in May, so you’ll have to wait a few months if you really want to get her look, but until then…
I love Chloe’s look, because she always manages to look very natural in what she wears, unlike other girls in the public eye who tend to look a little uncomfortable in their outfits. However, that’s not to say that Chloe doesn’t experiment with her look, or that she plays it safe. I really admire Chloe’s look, because it’s simple but effective – and more importantly, wearable. If I’m being honest, most of the outfits you see on celebrities are NOT something I would wear in reality, which is why I choose to do Get the Look posts on more relate-able styles. I have included some of her looks from the current fashion week, as well as LFW in September of last year.
This is a look that Chloe wore last September at LFW. Although it’s quite summer-y, I think it’s a look that can be easily tailored towards a different season, depending on the thickness of the jacket you choose. Alternatively, you could wear a black blazer with this look, in order to smarten it up! The wedges that Chloe is wearing will be available from her exclusive range from May on-wards.
This is the simple, yet on trend outfit that Chloe wore to the UNIQUE fashion show several days ago. I couldn’t find an exact high street match to Chloe’s jumper, but you can achieve the same sort of effect by teaming a plain cream jumper with statement gold accessories. I really love these jeans (and I have bought myself a pair, so I can vouch for them personally) as they are so well fitting and comfortable. The style is called ‘Leigh’ and you can buy them in a variety of different colours from the Topshop website. I do however, recommend that you try them on in store as the fit of them is quite different in comparison to other Topshop jeans. I’m usually a size 12, but had to get a size 10 in these jeans, which is strange – but they’re very stretchy, so this could be why.
I love how Chloe mixes leather and silky fabrics in her outfit she wore to watch the Burberry show. The cut off leather gilet is a statement piece in any outfit, but can be worn with a variety of different looks – so it’s a great investment. Chloe is wearing her own shoes again (collection is out in May) however, I did find some similar gold cross style shoes on the Unique section of the Topshop website.
Let me know what you think of Chloe’s look! Do you prefer more elaborate outfits or simple, wearable designs? Let me know!
