Introducing a new brow product into my regime is a rarity these days, as I have been dutifully tied to my HD Brow palette for the past two years. The Ash Blonde shade in the Bombshell set matched my brows perfectly and since it took me a long while to find the ideal colour match, I rarely strayed. However, despite it being a ‘revolutionary’ product in the beginning, I soon tired of the time it took to perfect them.
I have lightly coloured eyebrows, but they are quite thick – so using an angled brow brush to get the shape right took between 7-10 minutes each morning. A rather long time for what should be an effortless and easy practice. Don’t get me wrong, spending 10 minutes on my brows on a night out is absolutely no problem to me at all, as I love the precision you get from using an angled brush – and how you can naturally elongate the structure, however as a non-morning person, the quicker I can be ready to go, the better.
So when I first discovered Gimme Brow earlier this week (it had been sitting in my review box for quite awhile, but my assignments took over), I could have cried. Okay. So maybe that’s a little dramatic but the ease of use and minimal effort required – yet with the same result as my 7-10 minute regime made me wonder why I hadn’t discovered it sooner. Although the darker shade made me look rather scary, the light-medium shade blended in with my natural brow colour perfectly, adding a little more definition to them, without looking overbearing, unnatural or ‘drawn on’.
Not just a product that adds colour and definition, Gimme Brow actually continues thousands of little brush on micro fibres, which apply to your skin in a gel formula, for fuller, darker looking brows. Just two light strokes creates thicker looking natural brows, however if you wanted something more dramatic (or Cara D esque) you simply build up the coverage by using several more strokes.
If you’re looking for your brow miracle product, I can assure you – I would recommend this 100 times over. It’s worth every single penny.
