GOSH Cosmetics have recently launched a brand new range of six A/W inspired nail lacquers, each designed exclusively around this seasons trends. Very kindly, Nicola from GOSH has not only given me the range to review, but has also offered to send the first ten readers (to comment on this article) a shade of their choice.
Seeing as I only have five fingers available to photograph (I don’t have a tripod or anything available to use at the moment), I have decided to feature my five favourite colours from the collection, and hopefully – you’ll love them too.
From left to right: With A Twist, Berry Me, Holographic Hero, Lazy Green, Galaxy.
612 – Galaxy
I don’t normally go for sparkly colours on my nails, as I find they are so difficult to get off (even when using nail polish remover), however this range is made specifically for weekend wear, meaning it is thin enough to take off easily (and change your nail colour often), but similarly, thick enough to last should you want it to stay on longer. The Galaxy shade in black, is ideal for Christmas parties, nights out and casual day wear.
008 – Berry Me
Deep, rich reds are one of the most popular colours this season, and are also perfect for festive wear. I really love how this shade is daring, yet still subtle enough to wear during the day.
616 – Lazy Green
I am a huge fan of khaki, but don’t necessarily want to wear it head to toe. For a far more subtle khaki kick, why not try this gorgeous shade, which is both on trend and a really seasonal colour.
617 – With A Twist
Mushroom-esque polishes are still extremely popular, and have been seen all over the catwalk. I love how this polish blends several different shades to create a really unusual, yet wearable colour.
549 – Holographic Hero
This shade has been talked about extensively on both the bloggasphere and on the beauty market, so there’s no doubting it is a popular shade. Two coats provides really great coverage, but it is a ‘one night only’ polish, and so inevitably does begin to chip and show wear and tear after 16 hours. To make it last longer, try a thick, clear top coat.
So, just to clarify – the first ten readers to comment on this article (using the comment box below) will receive one bottle of GOSH nail lacquer of their choice. Please leave your name, your email address, your twitter name (if you have one) and the colour/shade you would like. If you are having problems commenting, tweet me @scarlett_london.
GOSH AW12 nail lacquers are £4.99 each and are available at Superdrug stores nationwide.
