I personally believe that people who have hazel eyes are so lucky, myself included. They can change colour dependent on what I am wearing or how I have my eye make-up, sometimes this is a dramatic change in colour or just a tiny bit. This tutorial will show you how to bring the green out in hazel eyes and is a colour I wear often.
I first started by moisturising my skin with Avene Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream. I apply this just before I apply my foundation to ensure smoother application and a flawless base. I used a Real Techniques Expert Face brush and buffed in Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade 52.
I then used Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in the colour mahogany with a Ruby and Millie angled brush to give my eyebrows a little more colour and definition.
On my eyelid I patted Maybelline Black eyeliner all over with a synthetic brush. Synthetic brushes are best for cream products as they will be easier to clean. I also took the product under my lower lash line and blended all the edges with a MAC 217.
Using the Sleek Storm palette, I used shade 6. You could use MAC cranberry instead which is perfect colour for this look. I took the colour under my eye too and blended with a 217. I repeated this step a few times as I wanted more depth and vibrancy. To add more warmth to the eye I added the Sleek Blush nude to the contour which was in a limited collection. You could use any bronzer if you don’t have the same colour but try and choose one that isn’t too shimmery.
I added Avon supershock gel eye pencil in black to my water and tightline and blended black from the Sleek storm palette on the outer corner.
I curled my eyelashes and then used Bourjois Volume Clubbing mascara in black. Sleek eyeshadows have a habit of falling down under the eye and onto cheeks so I used my foundation brush to clean that away. For under my eyes I used Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in number 2 using a Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush. I then went back with my MAC 217 to blend the eyeshadow under my eyes which makes sure the concealer and eyeshadow have no harsh lines. I added mascara to my bottom lashes.
I used MAC Gentle on my cheeks and MAC Soft and Gentle on the high points to give my skin a glow. On my lips I used Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting.
As you can see from the pictures above, my eyes look very green. Other colours that suit and accentuate hazel green eyes are bronze, warm browns, purple and black.
