After ten weeks of drama, posh slang and glossy locks, the postcode of SW3 can finally relax! Well that is until the next series…
The final episode of the popular E4 show finished all the ‘storylines’ off neatly, tying all the loose ends so that we could breathe a sigh of relief as Spencer and Jamie re-ignited their bromance (although the same couldn’t be said for Jamie and Louise!). Monday’s episode was a debate between what was more annoying, Kimberley’s OTT strut or her childlike voice when blaming Cheska for ‘ruining’ her pretty much perfect life. I don’t want to give too much away in case you were sunning yourself in a foreign country over the bank holiday but it’s a must see piece of TV! So get on demand and watch it now!
It’s upsetting to think that I will now be having withdrawal symptoms on a Monday night, but until the next series (fingers crossed for another one) I have devised a list of hotspots and trends that will let you live the Oh so glamorous Chelsea lifestyle whilst the Millie, Cheska and the rest of the gang are off-screen!

First off is the famous ‘Chelsea’ hair do, as one cannot be seen anywhere on King’s Road without the perfect tresses to match, so head down to Daniel Galvin Juniour in Belgravia. It’s a favourite for all the MIC cast and was even featured on the final episode when we saw a 60’s beehive re-created on Millie and Louise in time for Ollie’s party. Prices start at £64 (which may seem a little steep) but you only need to look at the flowing shiny hair of Millie and Caggs to know it’s worth every penny!

Next it’s time for a wardrobe revamp and if you’re too scared to venture out in Chelsea straight away, you head online to Iswai.co.uk to purchase jewellery and t-shirts modelled and designed by Miss Dunlop herself. If her designs are a little too plain for you, head to Oliver Proudlock’s creation http://sergedenimes.com/ which stock extrovert printed tees with prices ranging from £50 – £120.
Of course we are in a recession and with many of us on a tight budget, we can’t all afford to shop in the luxury stores the MIC gang do. However, you might be surprised to know that many of the cast are high street girls at heart and can be found regularly scouring Zara and Lipsy for their fashion forward outfits. I personally would recommend the Zara store in Knightsbridge as it stocks more of the sophisticated styles seen on the show, such as the luxury tweed blazers and fur gilets which the cast are regularly seen in. Millie herself has modeled for Lipsy’s VIP collection and has been seen wearing some amazing creations, perfect for prom or your graduation ball!
If however, you are on an even tighter budget , head to my favourite vintage store in London ‘Blit’z on Brick Lane which stocks the very best Varsity hoodies London has to offer. In the final episode, we saw Binky, Ollie and Gabriella discussing their costumes for the 60’s themed party here, so despite being a little off route – it’s still a Chelsea favourite!
And if you wish to venture even further into the East End, head to the Hoxton Bar & Grill where Caggie and Spencer have regularly been spotted having catch up over drinks. To really experience the VIP treatment, head upstairs to the rooftop to enjoy scenic views over cocktails and delicious food. If however, you feel a little more at home back in Chelsea you can’t go wrong with the Bluebird Cafe on King’s Road which serves up healthy salads to eat on a hot summers day.

With the hair, the clothes and the hot-spots sorted, you will make the perfect Sloane! So get out your phonebook and just wait for Millie and Caggie to call! In the mean time here’s a few of their most popular looks for inspiration!
