For the likes of Caggie, Spencer, Hugo and Millie jetting off to far flung luxury destinations are nothing out of the ordinary. Split up with your boyfriend? Book a trip to the South of France to get over it. Having a bit of a bad work week? Book you and your friends some last minute flights to the Caribbean for some sun and relaxation. Of course for most of us this will unfortunately never be our reality, because most of us are not filthy rich.
If however the budgets allow and we feel we deserve a break just as the Chelsea set would, here are some Made in Chelsea inspired holiday destinations to help you plan your holidays just like our favourite boys and girls of South West London. After all you totes deserve it darling!
Morocco
If sunshine is the key ingredient in your upper class getaway then a jaunt to Morocco like the cast enjoyed in series 2 could be just for you. Long hazy days consisting of camel rides, sitting around smoking a hookah and of course the obligatory cavorting around in your swimsuit (think Millie Mackintosh in THAT red swimming costume) is what you should expect from a 5 star break in Morocco. Preferably your break will feature less drama than our MIC favourites, the endless ‘will they, won’t they’ of Spencer and Caggie continued when they holidayed in Marrakech and caused a fair amount of friction in the group.
Chamonix
If snow beats sand for you every time then a ski break is probably more up your street. Back in series 1 we watched as Gabriella treated her then boyfriend Ollie to a romantic short break on the posh ski slopes of Chamonix. She got more than she bargained for when Ollie’s ever present BFF’s Cheska and Binky turned up as they were enjoying some champagne in the hot tub and put to bed her hopes of any kind of romantic break. If you enjoy winter sports, Chamonix is the place to be seen, spend your days showing off your skills on the slopes and your evenings enjoying the best 5 star après ski one could imagine!
Cannes
You’re turning 22 and struggling to think of what to do to celebrate? Well in true MIC style, Caggie decided the perfect way to celebrate her birthday was to jet off with her friends on in impromptu trip to Cannes. If that isn’t ‘rah’ enough for you, the cast also enjoyed the facilities of a private 8 bed room yacht! Cannes is the ultimate in opulence and wealth and a favourite with anyone who enjoys the more luxurious things in life. If you can afford to holiday here, you’ll enjoy white sand beaches, beautiful marinas and the best food and drink money can buy – a real a list holiday destination.
Finland
Another MIC inspired holiday destinations for those who like their holidays a little on the chilly side is Finland. Here we saw Caggie and Spencer finally get together after she surprised him with her arrival during last year’s Christmas special. Here you can enjoy log cabins, Jacuzzis and champagne so it’s not hard to see why it provided the perfect romantic backdrop for our favourite MIC couple. If sitting around in a log cabin and relaxing isn’t your idea of fun, our Chelsea set also enjoying a dog sled ride, which after all if there are no chauffeur driven cars to hand is the only way to get around!
