I actually bought this dress for my dad’s 50th birthday party – however loved it so much, I thought I’d take it along on holiday with me! Don’t ask me why but I usually rule Topshop out when it comes to high street shopping but I’ve managed to find some really lovely bits recently so if you’re in the market for some new clothes, I’d give them a try!
This dress follows a ‘body con’ style shape but is actually very secretly flattering (I never normally get on with body cons) as the lace helps smooth everything over and creates a feminine silhouette rather than showing off every lump and bump. I absolutely adore the colour and luckily found a bra in almost the exact same shade to match.
The sandals I’m sure you will have seen featured on my blog before, as they travel with me everywhere and pop out at every given occasion. Despite the heel, they are deceptively comfortable and unlike most shoes of this style, I have left them on for entire nights at a time (road testing them while dancing) without feeling the need to rip them off.
