You’ve probably seen me tweeting using the hashtag #LDNBloggersParty, and so I wanted to post a little update to let you know what it’s all about. As I stated previously (see here), I am hosting a London based bloggers party in June. A little get-together where fellow London writers and bloggers can get together, have a cocktail and a cupcake (or two) and mingle. I often feel like a gooseberry at events, because everyone seems to know one another and I hardly know a face. So, really (selfishly) this is so I can meet a few new faces and have a laugh. And so that those attending can too (see, it’s not all for my own benefit).
I emailed a batch of invites over to my favourite bloggers, and amazingly over 80 of you have confirmed so far (I did tell the venue we had 75, oops). I am overwhelmed by the response it’s received and I honestly can’t wait to meet you all. I’m busily preparing goody bags, and organising cupcake deliveries – so fingers crossed it all comes together for the big day!
It’s going to be a non-branded event, run by me – but there will be several of my favourite brands coming only on the day to have a chat to you all, and to show you some of their new bits. Nothing too formal. But hopefully, everyone will enjoy it! And you may have seen my goody bag room on my instagram (@scarlettlondon) – if not, check it out!
If you’ve received an invite and haven’t RSVP-ed yet, please let me know as soon as possible as I will be closing the RSVP’s on the 15th May. The venue only holds 100, so it’s not that I don’t want you all there – but if we have anymore, we might not be able to move. There will be a person on the door with the guest-list, so please make sure if you’re planning to come along – you double check that you’ve RSVP-ed!
