Beauty Boxes aren’t necessarily a ‘new thing’ but it’s about time somebody took into account our preferences and skin types before sending out sample subscriptions. For the beauty lover that has everything, this Christmas – a unique gift that is sure to be treasured is the Love Me Beauty Box Subscription, £10 a month (plus p&p) – featuring 5 sample sized (or in some cases, full size) products every four weeks, tailored to your preferences.
Hosted in a lovely glitzy silver box (which can definitely be used for make-up storage down the line), the products are presented in a luxurious white cloth drawstring bag and cater for the subscriber’s likes, dislikes and skin types. Tweaked (online) to what you’re loving – or not loving, it features five new products which you can trial before you commit to buying a full size version. A great gift for aspiring beauty bloggers, journalists – or simply just make-up lovers, you can purchase subscriptions as presents from now onwards.
I was lucky enough to review a sample as a sneak peek!
What I got in my beauty box:
Skin Dream BB Cream (Oriflame): 5-in-1 beauty balm with an added SPF 30. I can’t wait to try this out!
Pore & Line Minimizing Hydrator (Murad): I’m a big fan of the brand already, but this claims to hydrate and refine pores and control breakouts.
S5 Renew Serum: Again, I absolutely love the brand (each product upholds this gorgeous marzipan scent) and look forward to ‘plumping and smoothing’ my skin!
Mirabella Lip Colour: I hadn’t ever come across this brand before, but the colour (a deep plum red with gorgeous orange undertones to compliment the last remnants of a tan before the Winter months kick in) is absolutely stunning.
Lovingly Light Foaming Treatment Mask (Percy & Reed): I use mousse on my hair fairly regularly to define and volumize curls but this sounds really interesting as it claims to strengthen and hydrate hair too. I’ll let you know how I get on.
