It’s nearing the end of the month, so I’ve decided to do a post about my favourite finds in July – whether it be a website, a clothing store or even a trend – here’s my pick!
You may have seen a couple of these before, as they are often featured in jokey viral emails – however for the benefit of those that haven’t seen these awkward iPhone Auto Correct moments, happy reading! The website itself is full of awkward, but hilarious conversations – so if you get a chance, have a look at the website yourself. Obviously none of these pictures belong to me, they are property of Damn You Auto Correct and I do not take credit for them. I’ve included them purely for reference purposes – so enjoy!
Ombre Hair
Although this trend has been around awhile, I’m seeing it more and more in recent months! I think when it’s done correctly, it can look gorgeous however there are some who have disasterous results when experimenting with ‘dip dye hair’. Personally, I wouldn’t experiment with this style myself – as I don’t think I have the kind of hair that would suit it. My hair is naturally very curly and to have my hair gradually fade into another colour when curly – just wouldn’t work. However for those with long, straight hair – this look can easily be pulled off! I think it looks best when brunettes have blonde tips, however the brown on blonde look can also turn out great!
If you are thinking of trying Ombre Hair out for yourself, here’s a few photos for inspiration! DISCLAIMER – the photographs used are not my own and I do not take credit for them. They are used purely for reference purposes only!
Aussie Products
In previous years, I’ve found that my hair becomes very split and brittle after a summer of sea, sand and sun so I rely on Aussie products to make sure my hair doesn’t get completely ruined. I have quite weak, fine hair anyway – so I’m really pleased I’ve found these products! Linking back to my ‘how to get long, healthy hair’ article earlier this month, I am pleased to say that since following the tips I gave within the post – my hair has grown two inches in three months (I can measure this on re-growth) which is more than the average half an inch a month. My hair is a slow grower, but I’m getting there! My two favourite products are –
Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance – take this gorgeous smelling spray on holiday with you to seal up any split ends and repair hair after summers wear and tear.
Aussie 3 minute miracle – my saviour. I use every day for 3 minutes for silky soft hair.
Anyway, that’s the end of the post. I hope I didn’t bore you too much, and I hope I gave you a few laughs with my pick of the auto correct failures. Keep reading and commenting! Thanks for a great July! xx
