I was recently sent a sample box from Nature’s Finest Cosmetics, as I am a big fan of lovely smelling products but it’s often hard to tell whether you’ll like soap over the internet. I’ve tried and tested (and smelt) each sample, so that I can give an honest opinion on what each soap smells like. The best bit about Nature’s Finest Cosmetics is that every bar of soap is around £2.50 which is great value compared to high street handmade cosmetic stores such as Lush and The Natural Collection. The online store sells gorgeous soap slices at a fraction of the price of many other beauty stores, so I’d really recommend a visit! There are so many choices as to which soap you can buy, however I’d really recommend buying a sample pack from the store (which are £5) so that you can tell which scents you prefer! Here’s the one’s I tried and tested:
Jack the Rippler (above):
This one is probably my favourite, possibly due to the fact that I love vanilla scents or quite strawberry smelling soaps. This is a mix of both, with an added layer of pink coconut around the outside – leaving you refreshed and very moisturised! I’d definitely recommend this soap if you love to smell quite girlie and ‘vanilla-y’! It’s really lovely and for £2.50 it’s worth stocking up.
Caiperina (above):
This soap is much more subtle in it’s smell, however still contains a cocktail of berry scents which are ideal for those who need a wake up soap for the mornings. It’s a lovely soap for the summer, and anyone whose girlie and loves to smell like berries – this is the one for you. I love the appearance of this soap, as although not clear in my photograph, if you click on the link you’ll see how funky this soap looks when bought by the bar!!
Red Berry Blast (above):
A very awakening scent that blends berries, lavender and chamomile. May seem an odd combination but it really it lovely and I’d definitely use it! Would be great for those who love a bar of soap in the shower or the bath, or who love having new scented soaps for their hand basins (or perhaps even guest soaps). For only £2.50 it’s such a great price!
Bee’s Bar (above):
The description on the site tells you that this bar will leave you smelling of sweet honey, however I think it has hints of a butterscotch scent. The best way to describe it is that it smells of when you are cooking butter popcorn in the microwave. It’s very sweet, but if you want to be complimented on how sweet you smell – I’d go for a slice of the Bee’s Bar!
Strawberry Fields (above):
The best way I can describe this soap is a more sweet scent then ‘summer fruits squash’ that you might dilute. I LOVE summer fruits squash, and couldn’t think of anything more positive to smell of! This is my second favourite and I love the fact it has little bits of strawberry inside, it’s not only the smell that attracts you to gorgeous soaps but also the appearance – and this definitely has both!
Summer Cherry (above):
This is a really lovely soap, which I can only describe as an exotic mix of different berries. It’s quite an uplifting smell, which is ideal for those who love strong scents to awaken them in their morning shower.
Lemon Meringue (above):
This really does smell like what it says – with hints of biscuits, lemon and meringue, it’s the ideal soap if you have a real sweet tooth! It’s very zesty, but not too overpowering and a full bar of the soap looks amazing (click on the link on the title to see just how gorgeous it looks!).
Go Mango (above):
Although it mainly smells much like mango, it also offers hints of berries and is ideal for those who love a strong scent for morning or evening showers! It’s also gorgeous – if you click on the link to view the full bar!
Overall I love Nature’s Finest Cosmetics, as they offer such great products at such affordable prices. If you haven’t had a look already, then Click Here to view all the lovely products they offer.
