I love London Fashion Week for many reasons – the atmosphere, the people you meet, the buzz of press, bloggers and photographers – and of course, the high end fashion that is showcased each day, however unfortunately for me, many of the designs and brands on the catwalk will remain a memory encapsulated by a photograph or a blog post, rather than a purchase, because so many of the brands are so expensive. If only there was a retailer that offered all the brands we’d love to covet, for much, much less. Oh, there is. Brand Outlet has recently hit the ‘online high street’ and with over 70% off some of your favourite designers, it has certainly been stirring up plenty of interest. With a next day delivery service on a unity of brands including ACNE, See by Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Marni and Prada, it’s the perfect destination for all things fashion – without breaking the bank.
To celebrate this little find, I thought I’d put together 5 themed collections, showcasing the very best bargain designer wear (there’s a sentence you never thought you’d see) that’s ready to buy and throw on.
A lunch date with the girls is usually a casual affair (although one where a 1pm cocktail is almost compulsory) so it calls for a look that can pass as both day-wear and bar-worthy. This gorgeous See by Chloe Navy Cocoon Shirt is ideal for smarting up any outfit and at just £99 (down from £230) it’s versatile enough to dress up or down, especially with a pair of these Current Elliott Safari Jeans. Any new outfit automatically justifies a new bag too, especially if it’s a gold House of Harlow Clutch, which has been spotted on the arm of designer Nicole Richie herself. And although I may be going a little print crazy, I absolutely adore these Laina Embossed Snake Heel Sandals (£95, down from £235).
Festival attire just isn’t complete without a pair of sunglasses, so why not go all out and opt for a pair of Tom Ford Cross Overs, which are currently retailing on Brand Outlet at a bargain price! Although typical ‘festival’ outfit posts feature the same denim shorts, hunter wellies and slogan tees, I thought I’d trial something a little different – with clashing prints and bold, bright colours. I love these Wedge Sandals, this pair of wool mix Carven trousers and this silk Riley Rainbow tee by EQUIPMENT.
A date over dinner is always a nerve wracking experience, so why not ease off the pressure a little by choosing your outfit well in advance and having it all prepared (to wow). There are some really stunning dresses on the site, so I struggled choosing just the one, however this Silk Belted Wrap Dress is destined to be a success, especially when paired with these two tone Jimmy Choos (a very pricey buy, but everyone should have a pair – or try them out at least once). I love this unusual Kat & Bee Skull and Flower Ring, and I really think this gorgeous clutch rounds off the outfit.
Although I tend to buy the majority of my clothes online nowadays, you can’t beat a day of window shopping (especially with your mum), so naturally, this event calls for yet another new outfit. Hypothetically. This stunning See By Chloe African Weave Wool Dress has a gorgeous aztec based print which is ideal for both dressing up or down, especially when paired with a trench coat, a white gold fang necklace and my dream Michael Kors Watch!
And last but not least, my favourite occasion of all – bedtime. Luckily, Brand Outlet not only has a gorgeous selection of daywear, evening wear and handbags, but also lounge and sleep wear. These paisley print pyjama bottoms look so comfortable, not to mention on trend, and with a matching Tommy Hilfiger long sleeve top – you really can’t go wrong. I personally can’t keep slippers on, as I prefer to lounge around in socks, but if they are your thing, this adorable curl up Emporio Armani pair are a real treat (and surprisingly, very affordable).
