Back this week with a new outfit post. Inevitably back to total black for Autumn after experimenting with colours for the warmer seasons. Head-to-toe black always looks so chic (plus, it’s super slimming!) and, with fuzzy fur and slick leather, it’s ultra luxe. I wore this outfit for the third day at London Fashion Week.
Playing around with textures is always a good idea when wearing head-to-toe monochrome otherwise the look can be really bland. The fur adds some glamour and volume to the look while the shiny leather skinnies give an edge. I styled my leather skinnies with an oversized silk top from ASOS – tucked it in roughly at the front to elongate the legs instead of the long hem cutting them off mid-thigh. My Mongolian fur scarf was enough to keep me warm and add that little something to the total-black look. I accessorised with some rings (that armour ring is from a boutique in Greece called Zerteo – I love it!), large mirrored shades and my new Zac Posen bag in structured leather. Added a pair of strappy Aquazzura heels in burgundy suede for the perfect finishing touch. They are probably one of the most comfortable heels I own (and they’re stilettos!) because of the incredibly soft suede which doesn’t rub against the feet and, because they’re lacey, they hold on to the feet so are very stable. Of course, I have to admit that no heels, no matter what, are comfortable to walk and run around in for hours at end (like one does at Fashion Week!) so even these were killing me by the end of the day. They do say beauty is pain.
Wearing: Trousers, Zara. Top, ASOS. Heels, Aquazzura. Bag, Zac Posen. Sunglasses, Kuboraum.
