Back in Greece for the summer holidays so sorry for having been absent last week! The weather is divine, hot and sunny and I’ve been taking advantage and basking in the sun to achieve the perfect tan that will accompany all my summer outfits.
Starting this week’s outfit post in a slightly patriotic blue and white outfit, the colours of the Aegean…a silky blouse in white looks great with these sky blue silk slacks (I wore them here, too) – they are actually perfect for summer; lightweight and cool and turned up twice, I’ve worn them with mannish sandals for an effortless feel. Love these sandals (man-dals!) which I snagged at Primark (have them in black as well!), they are just the right amount of chunky mannish without becoming too masculine, and are super comfy – plus, the thick sole adds a little bit of height, which never hurts!
Got my tabac-hued Céline to add an earthy tone that pulls the look together while a swipe of bright red ‘Ruby Woo’ MAC lipstick complements the blues. In total Greek mode, I have accessorised with the cutest pendant necklace from Greek jewellery designer Liana Vourakis, which has a Greek lucky charm – the traditional Greek shoe «τσαρούχι», pronounced “tsarouhi”, worn by the Guards in Athens, known as ‘Evzones’.
Wearing: Top and trousers, both Zara. Sandals, Primark. Bag and sunglasses, both Céline. Pendant, Liana Vourakis.
Stay tuned for next week’s outfit – combining bohemian vibes with an Ancient Greek touch!
