Isabel Marant is by far my favourite bohemian brand with earth tones, fringes, embroideries, lace and leather (perfect for festival fashion, by the way) and, after buying several of her super skinny jeans, I can finally say that she makes the perfect pair of jeans. Their fit, cut, design are impeccable and you absolutely cannot find similar jeans anywhere else. The embroidery details and the colours are completely unique and that perfect length, cropped above the ankle, is ideal to elongate the legs, especially for petite girls, like me.
This week, I’m wearing a new pair of Isabel Marant skinnies; the cropped length and vertical stripes both create illusions of endless Jourdan Dunn-legs – ah, the dream. Love the earth colours, which I have matched with my tan Céline and one of my favourite heels, these tobacco lace-up sandals from Zara. Adding a pop of cobalt blue with this flowy batwing top. Light and fun, I love blue for summer (got it on my nails, too!)

As you have probably noticed, I’m not particularly daring with my accessories and make-up; some bronzer and a swipe of lipstick is more than enough. Today, I’m wearing my favourite caramel-coloured lip pencil from Clinique; I think it’s called ‘Mighty Mimosa’ – I’ve used it so much that the label’s completely worn off! And mascara. I love mascara. Although my lashes are super long and I hate that clumped up, spider-leg look – yikes. So, I’m always buying new sticks of mascara to avoid dried up clumps.
I hope you like this week’s summery look, with an earth-hued palette of colours, a breezy blue lightweight top and tousled beachy hair. The heels can easily be replaced with flat lace-ups, Greek or Roman-style, or even those perfect Isabel Marant metallic gold sandals (I know, I’m obsessed!). I’ve even worn these skinnies with Adidas Stan Smiths in crisp white and a flowy top – an effortless, dressed-down and sporty look.
Yesterday, I also got a haircut – went for the chop that I’ve been considering for months! – so stay tuned for a new outfit and new look next week! Want to know what you all think!
