Keeping the Greek theme in this week’s outfit again with my new gladiator sandals from Isabel Marant. I’ve combined them with crochet, woven silk and lace for a more girly and bohemian look, to tone down the tough attitude of the sandals.
Sitting amongst my favourite flowers, hydrangeas, I’m wearing crocheted lace shorts from Zara which I bought two summers ago but I still love them and wear them like crazy – they are so easy to pair with anything, black is the best and easiest colour and the frilly lace makes them so much cuter for a summery look than plain white ones.
I bought this silk woven “pochette” from an antiques fair in York a few months ago. Fell in love with its lush fabric and it reminded of a gorgeous vintage “La Bagagerie” that my Mum has. Very chic to swing around in the summer – with just the super essentials so as not to stretch out the silk threads.
Keeping it super monochrome in black with a touch of ivory beige so as to let the fuchsia pink hydrangeas pop with my bright pink nails and lipstick to suit.
Wearing: Top, Kain. Shorts, Zara. Sandals, Isabel Marant. Sunglasses, Céline. Bag, vintage.
What have you all been up to this week? With the World Cup in full swing, I have been watching almost all three matches every day, staying up until 3am (Greek time) for the last match of the day to end! Who are you all supporting?
