London Fashion Week Day 4. This week, my outfit is oversized (again!) and total-black. I’m wearing my favourite leather trousers from Acne with my adored (and completely overworn!) cut-out ankle boots from Office. Wrapping up with my See by Chloé coat and accessorising with this white and black cracked-leather clutch from Zara. It’s soft and slouchy and has that effortless, rolled-up Céline attitude – been desperately looking to get a clutch like that since Phoebe Philo showcased that gorgeous Spring/Summer 2013 collection!
I am wearing a new structured bomber jumper in black with intricate floral embroidery in metallic silver – it is by Zeynep Tosun, an emerging designer from Turkey who showed her Autumn/Winter 2014-15 collection in London last week at Fashion Scout – I actually went to her show wearing this and it was by chance that I chose to wear this jumper on that day! I loved her collection; it was sleek and stunning with a mix of off-white knits and dresses, dark brown leather on jackets and overalls and the chicest pale blue on trousers and cropped suede jackets. All the outfits were accessorised with giant pom-pom beanies in soft hues. I fell in love! See the catwalk images here.
I love wearing unique pieces and love to discover new designers and little, local shops in the cities I visit, which sell one-off as well as handmade creations. Céline and Chanel and Prada…they are all incredible brands and, as exciting as it is to have these in my wardrobe, I like to mix up my looks, not only with high-street items, but also with beautiful and original creations from unknown designers from all over the world. I am so happy I discovered this particular designer – and it’s all thanks to Daloo3a. Daloo3a (pronounced ‘Dah-loo-ah’), is a London-based, online avenue of emerging designers, showcasing new talent from all corners of the globe.
