As a brand, Orla Kiely is feminine, high quality and well respected in the industry. Known for their retro prints and pastel shades, I was rather surprised (but pleasantly so) to see that they stocked well loved gifts too. In time for the Christmas rush, my favourites from the collection include the ‘etc’ wash bags and the Bergamot mini bath and hand set. Luxurious yet simple, these unpretentious yet well loved gifts are destined to go down a treat with aunties, mothers, grandmothers and friends alike.
The Bergamot set is reasonably priced at £12 and features a shower gel, a body lotion, a hand wash and a hand lotion, all encompassing the floral geranium scent. Housed in a little orange box, all of the products are completely free from parabens, sulphates and artificial colourings – making for the perfect gift for any beauty loving friend or relative.
The wash bags are the perfect size for travel, each featuring a gorgeous (and practical waterproof) printed outer layer, with a protective inner layer (100% polyester). They would make ideal Christmas gifts (perhaps filled with chocolates or sweets – or even better – beauty products) and prices start at £20.
