I have never really used hair masks before, simply because I’ve previously likened them to face masks (which I’ve never really gotten along with – long story) however after being given the opportunity to trial a sample of Orofluido Hair Mask I am officially converted! Although it isn’t advisable to use hair masks everyday (especially if you have thin hair) as it can create product build up and weigh your hair down significantly, I love this product so much I’ve actually swapped it for my conditioner!
If I’m completely honest with you, I hadn’t heard of Orofluido until I was able to trial this product, however this year the brand won a prestigious Hair UK Award, which no doubt will boost its profile and (rightly so) let their wonderful products be discovered by the mass market! Although they don’t stock a vast array of hair products, the ones that they do sell are beautifully designed, affordable and effective!
I have been using this hair mask every day since Tuesday and have been amazed by the difference it’s made to the overall texture and feel of my hair. The product itself is quite silky anyway, so the immediate effect on your hair is that it is much softer and sleeker, however unlike other products – this feeling doesn’t wear off after you dry/straighten your hair and I’ve noticed that my hair is far shiner since using it. Although upon application the hair mask feels quite heavy, I personally don’t think it weighs down your hair at all and is actually a very lightweight product. It repairs the damage, without creating lots of build up.
I was primarily enticed by the product by its gorgeous, luxurious gold themed packaging which gives the brand a really ‘expensive’ feel despite the affordable price tag (£10.99 for a large 250ml tub). This expensive theme even stretches out into the colour of the product itself which is a pearly gold colour and silky in texture. Although I don’t buy products simply due to how they are packaged, I definitely think it makes a huge difference in terms of choosing one product/brand over another. A well packaged, luxurious looking product is far more enticing than a boring one!
As you are probably aware, I am attempting to grow my hair and so welcome any products that promote healthy hair and repair damaged hair follicles. I’m being completely honest when I say that the Orofluido Hair Mask has made a huge difference to the texture of my hair, as well as making it far more manageable. Although I’m still quite a way to achieving what I want to with my hair, I will definitely be using this hair mask consistently to promote the desired effect!
