Boots are one of my favourite things about Winter, as they somehow have the ability to bring together comfort and style seamlessly – an aspect missing from many other fashion items and wardrobe staples. Victoria shoes, who I first came across at a press day several months ago – have blended the ‘comfort’ factor into boots even further by coming up with their mash-up version of plimsoll boots, the single most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing.
With a suede base, thick bouncy sole and roll-down knitted top – this pair is both versatile and simple to wear, keeping your feet warm (which coincidentally is the most important part of your body – aside from your head – to keep warm if you want to feel warm all over) while also keeping you on trend. I’ve been wearing my pair for the last few days tucked into leggings (with the top rolled up) or with jeans (rolled down).
Calzados Victoria is a Spanish company first and foremost, born in a small town by a man who wanted to create fun canvas plimsolls – named after his new wife. The brand has a really great ethos, with quality products and a focus on comfort, style and natural ‘shoe ingredients’. The sole of the boot (I’ve no idea how they do it) even smells like sweets – wardening off any sign of smelly shoes!
Have you ever shopped at Victoria’s before? Do you have a Winter shoe preference?
