I know that there are plenty of branded blogging events in and around London, but I am yet to have attended an informal bloggers event, where bloggers can mix, chat and share ideas in an atmosphere that isn’t ‘brand’ based. There’s nothing wrong with these events, and I absolutely love attending them, however I do find it a little awkward as I hardly ever know anyone and after discussing this on Twitter, it appeared that a lot of you felt the same way!
So, I’ve decided to organize a little blogger’s London meet up. It’s going to be very informal and casual. I’m afraid I haven’t organized any cupcake making activities (although, I love these) or any team building activities, but if you pop along, you can opt to join in and have a glass of wine (or my fave – prosecco) and a pizza from the specially designed set-menu (although this is completely up to you!). A couple of the Boots and No 7 PR team are popping down to talk us through their fab new summer range, and to hand out a few goodies – but otherwise, it’s all very casual.
I’m not going to publish the invite publicly, because this event is open purely for bloggers – and I don’t really think it’s safe publishing where we are going to be and when (you never know who could be reading), however if you are free on the 30th March and live/in around London, and are a blogger, just leave your email in the comment box below, along with your name and blog name and I will forward the invite and the info straight over!
If you (like me) hate going along to events on your own, you are more than welcome to bring a plus one along for support, so just let me know. I will probably be dragging along my boyfriend (even if it’s just for photography purposes!).
