If you are a long term reader of my blog, you will probably know that I write for Mina Clothing (you can read my guest posts here), which I absolutely love as I am a huge fan of their ‘one off style pieces’ that are both affordable and extremely well made. The detailing on every single item of Mina clothing I own is impeccable and if you are looking for a unique gift for someone, or simply want to treat yourself then I’d really recommend a quick look at their website. They are currently holding a sale at the moment, where many items are 50% or more off (and it’s payday!), so if you do have a spare moment – take a look!
My latest item from Mina’s collection is this really lovely black and white detailed shell collar blouse. I normally don’t suit tops that are quite loose as they can end up making me look quite big but like all Mina items, the material used is of very high quality and it is fairly tailored so it flatters all the right areas. It is quite a casual style blouse and I have chosen to wear it with jeans, however I have worn it to sixth form several times in the past three weeks as you can team it with other items to make it look smarter. It is currently priced at £42, which I think is fair considering it is of very high quality and you can’t find a similar piece elsewhere on the high street.
I am also wearing my new boots from My 1st Wish, which I absolutely love because not only are they Jeffrey Campbell-Esq, but they also have the American flag on them! I have seen similar pairs in high street stores over the past few months and have been so close to buying them, however they have all been a little too pricey (£60-£80 range). Fortunately, My1stWish offer the boots at a much more affordable price but don’t compromise on the quality. The Brielle American Flag Platform Shoe Boots are currently priced at £39.00 and the same style is offered in different patterns on the site. Following on the ‘flag’ theme, I also attempted at union jack style nail art – although the final result didn’t quite look on the same level as the bloggers I was inspired by.
