It’s certainly felt like a very long winter, so now that May is here – we’re all starting to look towards a *hopefully* far sunnier summer! And with my wedding fast approaching, I’ve been honing in on my skincare regime a little more and trying to get it as glowy as possible for my big day.

Along the way I stumbled upon Pure Obagi who offer an extensive range of clinically-tested and dermatologist-approved products to cater for a variety of skin issues. Since it can be daunting to completely overhaul your skincare at once, I’ve been weaving in a few new products slowly and have two skincare wellness wonders to share…
Suitable for dry and sensitive skin (tick, tick – for me) this concentrated Vitamin C serum provides gentle antioxidant protection and instant radiance.
Adding Vitamin C to your skincare regime can have a number of benefits, including stimulating new collagen production and protecting your skin against free radicals.
I’ve always been a little scared to weave it into my daily routine because I didn’t know if it was suitable for my skin (which can be very fussy) but this is gentle enough not to irritate it.
The serum is also formulated to retain moisture and reduce inflammation, giving you an immediate glow!
I use this in the morning under my make-up as it absorbs quickly and acts as a lovely glowy base – and I’ve even dabbed it over the top of my foundation during the day if I start to see some drier patches, which has worked surprisingly well!
Obagi Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish + Mask
This product also optimises the fabulous benefits of Vitamin C, only this works hard to exfoliate and prime your skin, to create a smooth base for your serum (as above) and make-up.
I was a little apprehensive to try this initially, because I’ve found in the past that exfoliators can actually make my skin more dry in the long run however after a few weeks of use, I am still enjoying the effects of this – and despite a little redness after using (which is to be expected after buffing away at all the dead skin), there’s a definite glow afterwards – which I rarely see when it comes to my skin!
To use, simply apply to cleansed damp skin and wait 10-15 minutes before wiping away with a damp cloth.
Have you tried Pure Obagi? Do you swear by Vitamin C too? I’d love to hear your thoughts & tips!
