As I’m sure you are aware, Made in Chelsea is due to hit our screens next week for its third series and the producers managed to whet fan’s appetites last night by airing the very first minute long trailer.
If you haven’t previously watched the show, but enjoy The Only Way Is Essex – the brand new series is your chance to get involved in the action, as the ten part series follows a number of Chelsea socialites, heiresses and private school boys.
The trailer last night showed all our favourite cast members, but also introduced several new faces (some of which haven’t been publicly confirmed yet). A very pretty blonde girl is seen kissing Millie’s ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor, whilst Spencer seems to be preoccupied with a new lady himself. Caggie confirmed several weeks ago that any romance with Spencer was ‘off the cards’ and that despite appearing seemingly loved up in the Christmas special it simply ‘wasn’t meant to be’.
The lady in the trailer who appears to be dancing with Spencer is the gorgeous Kimberly Garner – Millie Mackintosh’s off screen best friend. Anyhow, newcomer Kimberly has been said to be ‘incredibly influential’ in series three, so she’s definitely one to watch. She recently attended an ice cream launch event with Millie, and looked like a professional as she posed for the cameras.
Also set to cause controversy in the new series is Gemma Gregory, who seems to have a very sharp tongue when it comes to slating other ‘scripted reality’ shows. She was overheard calling members of the Geordie Shore cast ‘lower class’, which resulted in her other co-stars giving her the cold shoulder at the Haagen Daaz launch last week.
You may remember Gemma from series two, as she attended a country house dinner party hosted by Jamie Lang – and if I’m honest, she didn’t really create the best impression of herself. Of course, I do not know her personally but she seems very over-confident, a little arrogant and very over dramatic (yes, they are all qualities we love in the other cast members but there’s something I just don’t warm to about Gemma).
Following in the footsteps on Spencer Matthews’ antics, newcomer Hugo Empson is set to be the show’s new love rat. A little bit of internet research tells me that Hugo is a model who enjoys horse riding and swimwear modelling. Hmmm. Which of the female cast members will he manage to woo over first?
Series two brought us Jamie Lang, Victoria Baker-Harber and Chloe Green – who have all in turn proved to be very influential and entertaining cast members, will the newcomers provide us with the same MIC drama? You’ll have to find out for yourself next Monday.
Made In Chelsea starts on the 2nd April at 10pm, E4.
