I’ve decided to write a separate post about the dresses on show at the Pia Michi party, as my last article was rather long (and to be perfectly honest, they need their own blog post!). As I said before, the catwalk show gave me plenty of inspiration for my own prom dress (which I should really start looking into). As soon as I spotted one dress I imagined myself buying, another one came strutting down the catwalk – so I will have to look over the photos and decide, but until then – here they are!
I have to say the models looked amazing. Their hair was styled by the very lovely Inanch London (also Amy Childs hairdresser), and looked very glamorous but still in keeping with the prom theme. There was a lot of floaty numbers coming down the catwalk, as well as lots of sequinned prints (as seen on Amy Childs). Nicola McLean (who opened the show) was wearing a cut-out printed dress with a mix of dalmatian spots and peacock feathers. It’s a really interesting and quirky design, but I absolutely loved it!
