The TOWIE girls got all dressed up yesterday for pal Lydia Bright’s official store opening. Usually seen sporting short skirts, stilettos and low cut tops, most of the girls attempted to tie in with the ‘classy, vintage’ themed shop, and instead wore blouses, lacy LBD’s and fur coats. Lucy Mecklenburgh arrived with boyfriend Mario in a black fur coat and a knee length black skirt, which is very demure compared to her recent underwear scenes on the ITV2 show.
Lydia’s shop ‘Bella Sorella’, which has been featured on TOWIE is open to the public tomorrow and will be selling a variety of ‘vintage inspired’ cakes, goods and jewellery. Much like Sam and Billie Faiers sisterly venture, Lydia is running the shop alongside her sister Georgia. Lydia describes the shop as ‘very stylised and distinctive’ and explained that such a shop doesn’t exist in Essex prior to Bella Sorella.
However, Lauren Goodger proved that she hasn’t been listening to recent critics and once again wore leggings as trousers. Although she attempted to make her outfit slightly smarter, by teaming the leggings with a red blouse and a fur style bag – I’m afraid she didn’t look her best, and the unfortunate leggings did absolutely nothing for her. It might seem quite harsh to be judging someone in such a way, however Lauren is regularly presented in a good light within the press, I feel it’s just her tight dress sense that lets her down. Lauren has a lovely, normal shaped figure; however she wears outfits that are much more suited to slimmer girls. This isn’t a dig about weight in any shape or form, however I just feel that she has worn some very flattering outfits before and she should perhaps stick to this rather than wear tight, revealing and unflattering outfits which quite frankly, do not do her any favours.
What do you think? Does Lauren need a classy makeover?
