My blogging journey has taken me all over the world to some of the most beautiful and exciting places. I’m so lucky to have travelled as much as I have, but there is still so much I want to see and do!
As you’ll know from my previous posts, I’ve tried to reinvent the way I think about healthy food and focus on my wellbeing, but this has also made me think differently about exercise.
Exercise can mean finding a new hobby that you love doing, which is why I’ve made a pact with myself to try and combine my love of travel with more adventurous activities!
Most of my holidays to date have been about rest and relaxation (very important in helping me get through my final year!), so it’s time to turn it up a notch and look at some of the more thrill-seeking tours that I can’t wait to go on.
The Niagara Falls Best Tour
The Magnificent Niagara Falls Tours company operates this thrilling, three-part tour that takes in the very best that the area has to offer. This is one place that I have wanted to visit all my life; it seems completely romantic, but with a taste of adventure thrown in – the perfect combination! I’ll start off on the Journey Behind the Falls tour, where people are plunged down a tunnel positioned right behind the Falls. When you reach the bottom, you can almost reach out it!
Then, I plan on taking the Hornblower cruise, where you sail right up to the sheet of water. I can’t wait to show you the fashion post for that one, as you get your very own bright yellow raincoat! Finally, I’ll get to go on the heart-stopping Whirlpool Rapids tour, where I’ll follow the wooden boardwalk all the way along the thunderous white water river.
A safari in Kruger National Park
There’s something almost magical about the thought of going on safari. It’s one of those bucket list dreams that I’m determined to turn into a reality. I can think of nothing better than witnessing the majesty of some of the most ferocious and beautiful animals in the world!
I might be able to spot a pride of lions enjoying a lazy afternoon in the sun or hold the stare of a hyena as I travel through the plains. I’ll even get to round off a hard day’s exploring with an open-air fire against another spectacular sunset.
The Northern Lights and the Golden Circle
I’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights in the flesh, but I’d prefer to take my experience to the next level! For one, I intend to take the dog-sledding excursion, where I’ll get to meet the packs of working dogs while learning the commands for controlling them before going out on the snow! Then, I’ll get to take in the Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir, before heading out to view one of the world’s most stunning natural phenomena.
I hope you all enjoyed this post – are there any other adventure tours you’d recommend to me?
