Both the TOWIE and Made In Chelsea cast attended the ‘mystery flavour’ Walker’s crisp launch last night, and although they didn’t seem to be battling it out in the fashion stakes, there certainly didn’t seem to be much conversation flowing between the two.
MIC’s Caggie and Millie wore gorgeous ‘summer’ inspired ensembles, possibly reflecting Caggie’s recent stay in Australia (she’s literally only got back from her Christmas break). Whilst their ‘dramality’ competitors Amy Childs and Chloe Simms wore something a little more tight-fitting (in true Essex style). Millie tweeted before the event ‘..first time I’ve worn a maxi skirt’ and I have to say, despite being a hater of maxi skirts myself, the thigh split does modernise it a little and bring a whole new twist to the ‘maxi skirt’ look. Although I’ve never had the confidence to wear a thigh split skirt/dress myself, they look so flattering – especially on a figure like Millie’s and give a dramatic effect to an outfit.
Millie also looked very bronzed and tanned, possibly a result of her new found love ‘Xen Tan’, a fake tan that guaranteed a bronzed and polished look every time you apply it. It is more widely known in the US but has recently hit the UK market. I am going to order some and try it out, because aside from spray tans – I haven’t yet found a tan that suits me. Prices on the Xen Tan website start from £16.99 but you can buy it on eBay here for £10.00!
Chloe Simms decided to wear a dogtooth style bodycon dress, which I recently posted about as Tamara Ecclestone wore it to an event last week. The dress itself is from celebboutique and costs in the region of £110, which is a little pricey for such little material but I do love the pattern!
Much to the delight of CBB fans, Andrew Stone also attended the event (may I add, without his new ‘girlfriend’) and posed with a variety of different guests. I’m glad to see that he hasn’t had an emotional breakdown since leaving the house and watching all his fellow housemates criticise him and call him ‘deluded’. Although he is a little deluded, I’m sure he’s quite sweet underneath his flamboyant and self-confident demeanour and I thought he was very entertaining whilst on the Channel 5 show!
All guests of the Mystery Flavour Walkers Party were treated to unlimited Walker’s crisps (which the MIC girls seemed to thoroughly enjoy) and champagne. Cousins Chloe Simms and Joey Essex attended the event, as they are appearing in the new Walker’s advert but appeared to have had enough by 10pm, as they were photographed in a taxi on their way home.
