I’ve been through copious amounts of hairbrushes in the last few years, not because I have lost them but because they don’t agree with my hair. That might sound like a really strange concept to you, however (as you probably know) I’m trying to grow my hair and I believe that it’s really important to have a good quality hairbrush in order to keep it healthy.
You can buy hairbrushes from almost anywhere nowadays, with clothing brands such as New Look and Primark stocking their own brushes, however they aren’t all what they are cut out to do – as I discovered. I bought a comb a couple of years ago from New Look and it pulled out a lot of my hair, split the ends and snapped. It was cheap, but I regretted using it on my hair. I also find that if I don’t use certain hairbrushes when drying my hair, it doesn’t acheive the same glossy look. Which is annoying.
Anyway, the point of my waffling is – that it’s important to invest in a good hairbrush (and when I say invest, I don’t mean take out a mortage or sell your car), I just mean look into buying a good quality hairbrush. If you need a little help in that department, then look no further. Denman (who are very well known for their hairbrushes!) have brought out a new range of hairbrushes which are stylish (zebra printed!) and great for your hair. I’ve been using my white Denman hairbrush on my hair for a few days now (prior to this, I’ve been using another Denman’s hairbrush I had, with the occasional use of a pocket Tangle Teaser) and my hair has never felt healthier. It’s glossy, especially if I blow dry it using the hairbrush and the bristles are gentle enough that they don’t rip out your hair, but have the right amount in order to untangle those annoying knots!
It’s ideal for blow drying and styling, as the base of the bristles is rounded and flexible, which means that drying your hair is an easy and simple task. I love my Denman brush, and I love the zebra print. You can also buy it in blue, pink or purple! Best of all, it’s only £8.68 from the Denman’s website, so you definitely don’t have to remortage your house or sell your car!
