I struggle to find an adequate outfit to bundle on for University everyday, let alone the biggest fashion event on the calendar – so when it came to planning what I’d wear this season, I opted to put together looks well in advance. I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to outfit combinations and I would love to say I’m one of those girls who can throw an unusual skirt and jumper together and make it look like it was meant to be – however, I do try and dress for my shape and personal style while throwing in a mix of trends.
Day One
The first day of LFW was destined to be spent on my feet, so I really should have picked a more sensible pair of shoes. However, these gorgeous knee highs from Missguided were too incredible to miss (especially at a limited time price of £40), so I teamed them with a tartan scuba skirt from New Look (now £6) and a turtle neck from Mint Velvet. I almost tucked the jumper into the skirt but I decided that wearing it over the top would be more flattering and wearable for an all-day event. My jewellery was all from STORY by Kranz & Ziegler and my nails were emblazoned with the Ted Baker nail wraps (an amazing creation – mine have lasted nearly 2 weeks, which is unheard of in the world of nail wraps).
Day Two
The second day was a little less busy, so I opted once again for my Knee Highs, however this time – I added black tights and my Motel Rocks Sun & Moon dress, which I absolutely love (especially the back which you can’t see in these pictures). With a breakfast booked at The Savoy, I knew I wanted to look dressy – but not overly so, therefore this was the perfect combination. I teamed my dress and boots with my trusty bright orange coat (which is a bit of a statement piece and seems to feature everywhere).
